Dr. Angelic Muhammad

TRAUMA THERAPIST

Dr. Muhammad is a Detroit native and a mother of one, Donovan Muhammad. She has live in Georgia for 17 years and in Conyers sense 2015. She is an author of two books, From Allah’s Hands to my Womb with in a combination of short stories, quotes and pomes and What is love, What if love which, is a book that tells a short of love in poetry. She has also written 2 workbooks, one in reference to trauma and emotion and the other on emotional conflict. She also has two books in the making.

She earned her BS at the University of Findlay in Psychology with a minor in entrepreneur communications. She received her MS at Capella University in Mental Health Counseling and her PhD at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in International Psychology with a concentration in trauma. She has earned several certifications, Master life coach, Energy Leadership index – Master practitioner, Thai Yoga Body-Works Therapist, from the University of Georgia a crisis mental health therapist, a Moral Reconation Therapist and a CNA.

Dr. Muhammad has spoken at many venues, organizations and colleges over the years. She has built programs in San Palo, Brazil, bridging the gap of communication between the hospital staff and psychiatric care to better assist with trauma care. In Lusaka Zambia she created an expressive arts program to assist with children with HIV/AIDS, Street Children, and those with mental health in order to decrease the experienced trauma. Dr. Muhammad in actively involved in her community and sits on a couple boards and are members of others. She has now added playwright, directing and producing to her resume in order to continue to bring awareness to the important topic of sexual assault and domestic violence. She is an entrepreneur, author, inspirational speaker, traveler international psychologist and whole body health coach but her most important job is being a mother. She plans to empower a nation and glad you all are a part of her Journey.
